Job Description SummaryThe Post-Kidney Transplant Clinic in
Rutledge Tower operates Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, no overnights,
weekends, or holidays! Our staff includes RNs and RN coordinators
who work together to provide consistent and cost-effective care to
the transplant patients and families. Our 6 infusion chairs also
allow our nurses to be trained in non-chemo infusions. We strive on

DescriptionThe Transplant RN Coordinator reports to the Transplant
Program Manager of the Transplant Center. Under general
supervision, the Transplant RN Coordinator develops and uses
advanced clinical management, consultation, education and research
to promote quality care for the specific transplant patient
populations. Provides growth in clinical knowledge through
research-based practice with peers. This position is responsible
for the ongoing training of new staff and keeping up to date with
the regulatory changes in UNOS and CMS.Education: Bachelor's degree
in nursing required and three years related nursing experience.
Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of
Nursing or a compact state. Some positions require certification as
a generalist in a related specialty area by the American Nurses
Association (ANA). Licensure as a registered nurse by the South

Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American
Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA

required to push a stretcher with a patient with one hand. Ability
to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes.

at a distance. (Continuous) Ability to match or discriminate
between colors. (Continuous) Ability to determine
distance/relationship between objects; depth perception.
